2013 Orin Swift "Papillon" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95 Points, Robert Parker)  3 Bottles.  The 2013 Papillon is a killer wine with inky purple color and offers notes of espresso roast intermixed with white chocolate, crème de cassis, blackberry and a touch of toasty oak.  Broad and opulent, with great intensity, purity and depth, this is another stunner wine from Orin Swift winery.  Retail value $65.00 per bottle.

2010 Cain Five, Spring Mountain District, Nape Valley (4.3/5.0 Stars, Vivino.com) 1 Bottle  The Cain Five is utterly unique, distinctive in both aroma and taste that is spectacular.  Composed of five classic varieties – Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot, Cain Five epitomizes the benefits of blending to achieve a luscious complex wine, supple and rich texture, combining a full, firm structure with a long and suble finish.

2000 Chateau Haut-Bages Liberal, Pauillac, France (90 Points, Cellertracker.com)  2 Bottles.  This 15-year-old wine retains a youthful opaque ruby robe. It is likewise youthful on the nose and palate, packed with ripe cassis, pencil shavings, allspice, sage and pipe tobacco. Full-bodied, freshly acidic, seamlessly alcoholic (12.5%) and with big sweet tannins, it stays sturdy in the middle and closes with excellent length. This impressive vintage of Haut-Bages Libéral has at least another decade of life. Drink now-2025.

2012 Chateau Secret de Cardinale, Saint-Emilion, France (93 Points, Robert Parker)  3 Bottles.  “This 2012 is a super-concentrated, layered, opulent wine with luxurious fruit largely concealing some serious tannin.  This blockbuster displays plenty of mocha, black cherry and cassis fruit.  It has an incredibly dense, opaque purple color and a full-bodied mouthfeel.  This is a stunner but very limited in availability, only 125 cases made.” -Robert Parker

2012  Chateau Lascombes, Margaux, France (94 Points, Robert Parker)
3 Bottles.  An outstanding wine in this vintage, the full-bodied 2012 Lascombes reveals more power, concentration and texture than many of its peers. Its dense blue/purple color is followed by notes of acacia flowers, blueberries, black raspberries, black currants, vanillin and toast. Medium to full-bodied with excellent texture (for a 2012), as well as good follow through and length, this soft, plush, outstanding Margaux should drink well for 12-15 years.
